  MTS Yachts cruises don’t sail directly to the Burj Khalifa area because of marine traffic restrictions on New Year’s Eve. However, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the JBR, Atlantis, Bluewaters Island, and Palm Jumeirah fireworks, which are equally spectacular. For guests who want a longer route or closer view, MTS Yachts can arrange custom routes depending on availability and permissions.

• 2. Do I need a special permit or ID to join a yacht party on New Year’s Eve in Dubai?

  No special permit is required, but a valid Emirates ID or passport must be shown before boarding due to marina security rules. MTS Yachts submits a guest list to Dubai authorities in advance, so all passengers must bring identification. It’s also best to arrive early, as marina gates may close once the security checks start in the evening.

• 3. What happens if I miss my yacht’s departure time on New Year’s Eve?

  On New Year’s Eve, traffic around Dubai Marina is extremely busy, and yachts must leave on schedule. If you miss your MTS Yachts departure, the yacht cannot wait or return, and refunds usually don’t apply. To avoid delays, plan to arrive at least 90 minutes early for check-in, security clearance, and boarding.

• 4. Are food, drinks, and entertainment included in New Year yacht rentals, or do I bring my own?

  MTS Yachts’ New Year’s Eve packages typically include international buffet meals, soft drinks, music, and festive decorations. Some luxury yachts also feature DJs and countdown celebrations. Alcohol can be brought on board if approved during booking. For private charters, MTS Yachts can also arrange custom menus, live BBQ, or themed celebrations upon request.
